SIR, I would like to thank through your pages the British public and the people of Monmouth for their support and help during my 961 mile walk from John O'Groats to Lands End. The walk took 56 days, averaging 17 miles a day, with a 50lb bergin on my back. It was in aid of Help for Heroes as I want to highlight the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, from which I suffer. Last year, over 50 ex-servicemen and women took their own lives.
