I am writing to thank you very much for letting members of the public know about our petition to Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) regarding the cessation of the dog warden service in Monmouthshire.
Since your publication last week in the Monmouthshire Beacon a lot people have responded by coming in to our surgery to sign the petition.
We are grateful to them for their support, but welcome more signatures and ask anyone who wishes to sign the petition to call in.
Our County Councillor Sue White has very kindly agreed to submit the petition at the next MCC meeting, which is on 14th April.
Could we perhaps, through the Beacon, request that all signed petitions be submitted to the One Stop Shop in Monmouth for the attention of Sue White by 11th April?
