The third and fourth rounds of the British Sprint Enduro Championship took place in Llangrove last weekend.

In near-perfect track and weather conditions, competitors enjoyed close competition.

Over two days of racing David Knight dominated the Elite class while top honours in the Under 19 class were shared by Australian Ben Burrell and Manx youngster Jamie McCanney.

Danny McCanney, Jamie's older brother, enjoyed a double Under 23 class win while Tyson Maytom-Jones hit double top in the Expert class.

Tournament director Jonty Edmunds said Monmouthshire had been a fabulous location for the event and thanked the "supportive" landowners who had been working with him.

"All races are individuals against the clock, and the fastest guy around the course over a set number of laps is the winner," he said.

The championship is in its third year and this time is made up of five rounds.
