I'm investigating six planes that crashed in my village during the Second World War.
Almost nobody over here ever heard of the crashes, so I'm investing my time and efforts in gathering information so I can write a book or erect a monument.
One of the airmen who crashed in my village was Pilot Officer (Observer) Raymondo Woodrow Dawson, 87361, RAF (VR), 102 Squadron. He died 13th June 1941, age 22.
He was son of Reverend John Thomas Dawson and Louisa Ann Dawson of Llanvaches, Monmouthshire.
