The driver of a school bus, arrested after his bus crashed outside Cross Ash Primary School yesterday, has been bailed by police.

The driver, a 59-year-old local man, was arrested on suspicion of driving while being unfit through drink or drugs and driving without due care and attention.

He has been bailed until 14th June.

No children are believed to have been seriously hurt as the minibus rolled onto its side opposite Cross Ash Primary School at around 9am yesterday.

One pupil was taken to hospital yesterday with a suspected fractured elbow.
