SUPERDRUG in Monmouth is due to open next month after suffering severe flood damage in November after Storm Claudia.

The beauty and health retailer located on Monnow Street said they have committed to an opening date of March 9. The store has been closed since November 15 when flood water swept through the shop, destroying stock and shelving.

Mark Price, Manager of Superdrug in Monmouth told the Beacon they have started refitting the stock and the major building works are complete.

They are now preparing to getting the shop back up and running again, ready to welcome customers back.
