Last Saturday night I was regaled by Julian Clary's spectacular show at the Savoy Theatre in Monmouth.
It was very, very funny and the hall was packed; both in the stalls and the gallery.
To put on such a show requires a lot of hard work, carried out professionally by a team of mainly volunteers.
In addition to highlighting the latest cinematic releases, the Savoy team always ensure that live entertainment is of the highest calibre.
Indeed, why go elsewhere when Monmouth has its very own historic place of performance.
I for one am very much looking forward to the Savoy's next show, an evening of stand-up comedy, 'Funny Women on November 25th.
