A CHARITY auction is taking place in aid of Teddy’s Wish foundation, supporting bereaved families who have lost a baby.

The auction is taking place at The Old Nags Head on Wednesday February 4, but the closing date for donations is on January 31 where you will need to bring them to The Old Nags Head, Granville Street, Monmouth.

Teddy’s Wish is a UK charity, it was founded after the loss of baby Edward Reid to a Sudden Infant Death Syndrome also know as Cot death.

The charity dedicates funding into research of stillbirths, neonatal death, and SIDS, while also providing bereavement support and counselling to parents experiencing baby loss.

So far they have support 1,000 families, funded research into 10 medical projects and hosted 10 retreats.
