SIR, I wish to express my  grateful thanks to all the men who go out in the middle of the night usually after their day shift to put salt on the roads of Monmouth so that first thing in the morning we can drive to work in safety.  You are salt of the earth - excuse my pun.  We in Monmouth are very fortunate in many ways but you are very special and I thank you.
