Teenage sprinter Ryan Lee ran in the first major outdoor competition of the season in Wales, the Welsh Senior under 17 and under 20s round one at Penylan Stadium, Brecon.
All of the top Welsh athletes in their respective age groups were competing.
Ryan ran the 100m in another personal best with a fantastic legal time of 11.37 seconds.
This now puts Ryan as the third quickest 100m sprinter in the whole of Wales in the under 17s age group. The current number one in Wales is from Cardiff and the Vale and has a very impressive time of 11.21 seconds.
It is still only just under a year since Ryan started competing at these types of meetings and he seems to be getting quicker all the time.
Based on his recent results, he has been chosen to represent South East Wales this coming Sunday (1st May) at Yate in the National Junior league.
He will be running in the 100m, the 200m and the 4x100m relay, competition again will be very strong.
