A petition to improve parking in a Monmouth road has been handed to MP David Davies.

Goldwire Stores says it is losing trade because of inconsiderate parking and residents are struggling to park outside their own homes.

Nearly 100 people have signed the petition, which calls for action to stop commuters parking in Goldwire Lane and Somerset Road before walking into town.

Double-yellow lines and off-road parking for residents are two of the ideas being mooted.
