A RAGLAN man was rescued by the RNLI last Friday (6th August) after his fishing boat sank off the coast of Tenby. Rob Rennie, skipper of the Lady Jue, was one of five people on board the three-week old boat on charter from Swansea marina when it got into difficulties six miles south of Pendine Sands. Tenby RNLIs Tamar class lifeboat was launched at 11.04pm last Friday after the coastguard reported a mayday call from a sinking 30 foot fast fishing boat. A flare was fired to help the RNLI lifeboat and its volunteer crew to locate the sinking vessel.
