This Sunday, 10 August 2025, quad bike and 4x4 drivers from across Wales will gather for a unique convoy across the Epynt Mountain, taking in its dramatic scenery and historic landmarks. The event is part of Brecknock Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Feature County 2026 fundraising activities, raising vital funds for Wales Air Ambulance Charity and the Feature County Appeal.
This event holds special significance as it falls during the 85th anniversary of the clearance of Epynt, when families were relocated to make way for the military training area. The event provides participants with a rare opportunity to travel across this landscape, learn about the lost Epynt community, and see areas of military training importance.
Organised by the Brecknock RWAS 2026 Feature County Committee, in collaboration with Major Andrew Butchers MBE, Commandant of Sennybridge Camp, the day promises a mix of history, adventure, and rural community spirit.
