SIR,
My friend from Cheltenham came to the Monmouthshire Show, was taken ill and spent most of the day in the first aid tent.
I would like to record our thanks to the St John's Ambulance Brigade, the paramedics and Dr Goodwin, who cared for her so well.
Dr Goodwin, particularly, spent a lot of time giving her various tests and even made time to see her at the surgery the next day.
The National Health Service is still alive and well. Many thanks.
