Wyesham Ward residents queued early for an opportunity to raise their concerns with County Councillor Emma Bryn and Monmouth Town Councillors Rob Barrell, David Evans, Alice Fletcher, and Rachel Jupp at last week’s Councillors’ drop-in surgery.

The councillors were grateful to be joined by Becky Taylor, PCSO for the Wyesham Ward who was able to advise residents on car-parking and anti-social behaviour issues.

Concerns and issues raised with the councillors included the state of the Wye Bridge road surface, the cleanliness and graffiti in the underpass, and erosion of some road surfaces in the ward. All issues and concerns raised are being taken up with the appropriate bodies.

Funding has been secured to ensure that further Wyesham Councillors’ surgeries will be held, details of which will be published in the Beacon and on-line.
