There is still time for anyone interested in being a councillor for Monmouth Town Council.

With five seats still vacant the town clerk is inviting those who wish to be a councillor to email or write to confirm their interest in being considered.

The vacant seats are in the following wards: Three seats in Osbaston, One in Wyesham and one in the Drybridge ward

If you are interested in representing any of these wards and would like to stand, please provide the information contained in the co-option notice on the town council website under ‘Elections 2022’ by 1st July.

All applicants will be considered at the Full Council meeting on 4th July 2022, when they hope the council will be at full capacity.

Should you have any questions about what it means to be a councillor or what the co-option process is, contact the town clerk at [email protected]
