Motorists are being advised of a temporary road closure later this month.
Monmouthshire County Council has announced that a section of Blue Door Road, Dingestow, will be closed on Wednesday, October 28 for poling works.
The restriction is scheduled to be in place between 10am and 5pm.
The closure will affect a stretch of Blue Door Road approximately 185 metres south of its junction with Bryngwyn Road and will extend for around 165 metres.
The council said the temporary order is necessary to ensure the works can be completed safely.
Reasonable access will be maintained for properties located along the affected section of road where possible during the closure.
A signed diversion route will be put in place for motorists, directing traffic via Bryngwyn Road, the R42 road from Dingestow to Mitchel Troy Road, and Mitchel Troy Road before rejoining the route.
