A 73-year-old man has been charged with 23 offences relating to the distribution and possession of indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children and possessing extreme photographic images.

Victor Bignell, of Norton Skenfrith, appeared in Newport Magistrates Court on Thursday 16th June.

No plea was entered and he was granted unconditional bail.
