A 35-TONNE trawler boat will be sunk at the National Diving and Activity Centre in the coming weeks as part of a series of improvements to the site.
Investments of £500,000 at the Tidenham attraction will see the opening of a new Segway off-roading track, a 50ft 3G swing allowing thrill-seekers to swing over the cliff-side, and the creation of 12 new deluxe wigwams for accommodation.
It is hoped that the Segway course and 3G swing will open around March, and the wigwams will be open shortly after.
The trawler boat, known as Caroline, has travelled 500 miles from Aberdeen to its new home as an underwater diving attraction, giving scuba divers in fresh water the chance to explore a real wreckage.
The boat is 11 metres long and will be sunk in the coming weeks.
The centre will also be extending its cafe and bar, which is open to the public as well as guests.
Regular visitors will also welcome the reopening of the centre's zip wire in March after closing temporarily for annual safety checks.
