NATASHA Hamm who recently came back from playing in Italy as part of the women’s futsal world cup and is looking ahead to playing the deaflympics in Tokyo in November has attended many event recently raising funding for the deaflympics.

Natasha Hamm opened the Ellwood ladies football club summer fete on July 5, an event arranged by the ladies football and Micky Dowle to support funding for GB ladies deaf footballs November trip to Japan and to support some local charities.

During the afternoon of the event Natasha put up a set of goalposts and people paid to shoot against Natasha to see who could get the highest score.

“It was great fun,” said Natasha.

Natasha was also asked by Berry Hill Primary School to open their end-of-year fete and to show future sports enthusiasts what can be achieved with great support from close family and great friends.

The goalkeeper has also asked the Great Britain ladies to come to Ellwood to play a friendly game and help the Ellwood ladies raise the profile of Ladies football in the Forest of Dean.
