MADAM,

It speaks volumes that the parliamentary candidate for Monmouth David Davies believes an opponent actually resolving a local issue is “a sad state of affairs”.

Even sadder is that he attempts to make political capital from highlighting it, but it has clearly backfired.

Thanks to the intervention of the Liberal Democrat candidate for Raglan, a local issue has been resolved and a new bus timetable is finally in place, superseding the previous one which was five years out of date.

Perhaps, like the old timetables, this candidate is out of date and needs replacing?

Let’s end the petty bullying and stick to the big issues and not chastise a local politician for taking action and doing something positive for their community.
