MONMOUTH residents donned their running shoes, whipped out their armbands and jumped on their bikes in a bid to raise money for Sport Relief last week.

Schools and businesses in Monmouth clubbed together to rally behind the cause from Friday (21st March) to Sunday (23rd March).

Sport Relief helps people in the UK but also provides aid and support to those living abroad.

In the UK money is donated to people living on the streets and also provides protection for those suffering with domestic abuse.

Money donated for countries abroad enables children to gain an education and provides communities with fresh water and vaccines.
