There is a great need for more free parking in Monmouth. If someone is working on a minimum wage, the cost of parking all day is almost one hour's wages.

Why can't the waste land by the petrol station be turned into a free car park? It is not too far to walk into town from there.

Vauxall Fields could be parked on with a minimum of development and a pretty footbridge over the Monnow would enhance the town.

I am hoping that whatever is being built in a field between Monmouth and Mitchell Troy is some enterprising farmer developing a Park and Ride for Monmouth.
