A CPR upskilling event was held at the Monmouth fire and rescue station on March 20 .
The evening offered the chance for residents to go along and have a short presentation about cardiac arrest and CPR which explained fact such as the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack.
At the session they invited people to try their hand at CPR on the mannequin which is aimed to giving people the confidence to step in during an emergency. Over 100 people have now taken part in these sessions
“According to Monmouth Fire and Rerescue: It is currently attended lot by local tradespeople, and community clubs. The event was also supported by the local WAST crews on all three occasions.”
