The 2008 Monmouth Golf Club Captain's Charity Fund has closed after raising a total of £4356.60.

Cheques for £2178.30 were presented to Carole Tucker, the local representative of Macmillan Cancer Support and Barry Stickings, National Chairman of the Micro and Anophthalmic Children's Society by 2008 captains David Evans and Sue Edwards, at a buffet lunch.
