Sir Tony was signing books at the Church Street bookshop, Rossitor Books and two old friends of his popped in to say hello.
Archaeologist Steve Clarke and Chris Ryde, director of the trust and general manager of the Savoy have known Tony for a number of years and were warmly greeted by the actor turned author.
Steve Clarke gave Sir Tony a copy of his latest book The Lost Lake and in return was given a copy of Robinson’s autobiography.
