MONMOUTH Banking Hub are hosting a Scam Prevention and Support Awareness Event, delivered in partnership with Age Cymru Gwent next month for the Monmouth community to attend.

The event is taking place on Friday October 16 from 10am until 1pm.

There will be representatives from Age Cymru Gwent who will be there throughout the event to provide advice and guidance on how residents can identify, avoid, and report scams while offering information on the support available at the banking hub to anyone who may have been affected by fraud.

The community event will enable residents to speak to professionals while using information they can use if they are unsure about what to do in the future.

The Banking Hub is located on 15 Monnow Street.
