The new Mitchel Troy United Community Council website went live at the end of January.

"We have been working towards a website to serve our communities for some time and are delighted that local people will now be able to see the work the council undertakes and contact us via the site," said Councillor Helen Bosanquet, chair of the Community Council.

The website provides the agenda and minutes, together with the venues and times of the meetings for 2015.

All the councils' official documents are displayed, such as standing orders and financial regulations. There is also background information for the five wards making up the Mitchel Troy United Community Council area which includes Cwmcarvan, Dingestow, Mitchel Troy, Tregare and Wonastow.

The website was funded by a grant from the Welsh Assembly Government and created by ICT Vision. Councillors are indebted to the council clerk, Ann Davison and locum clerk, Lynne Parker for the preparation work for the website.
