MITCHEL Troy VPA’s annual Show and Village Fayre was hailed a success on Saturday 18th August with large number of entries in most categories.

The show featured a display of competition classes, vegetables, fruit, cookery, craft, floral art and children’s classes, along with a tom bola, raffle, teas coffee and cake.

A new category in the cookery section for Dundee cakes saw 10 entries, with the judges commenting that all of them were perfect examples of the traditional cake.
