THE MALTHOUSE cafe have been one of many residents in Monmouth showing an incredible amount of support to people as they clear up the silt and debris from their businesses which Storm Claudia left behind.

Kate Launder, owner of The Malthouse Cafe has been baking and distributing cakes and drinks to people across Monmouth town who have been working tirelessly to get their businesses back on their feet.

“I am handing out some homemade flapjacks which we have made this morning, we thought everyone needed the energy to help with everything they are doing with clearing after everything happened, said Kate.

“I am just chatting to everyone and checking in on people to make sure they are okay. We are at the top end of town so we were fortunate but we are trying to help those who are less fortunate with everything that’s happened from Storm Claudia.

“Our love and support goes out to everyone, you’re welcome to come to The Malthouse for a coffee and a nice chat whenever you need to.”
