Popular Monmouth charity folk group, Celtic Collectors, continue to build their impressive fund-raising total, adding another £600 to over £30,000 raised for local charities during the last three years.

Their next performance at the Savoy Theatre on Friday 6th November will be a real treat as the group embrace the Woodstock theme with a contemporary music selection. Dave Andrews from the band invites everybody to buy their tickets in support the Savoy and go full on ‘hippy’ to celebrate the flower power generation.

Parents and friends of Ruardean Scouts were treated to a rousing mix of celtic music at Whitchurch Village hall last Saturday 10th October. A delicious cake sale and sweet treats put on by the scout group added to the success of the evening.

In addition to the Celtic Collectors, the audience will also be entertained by ‘Crossroads Jam’ with ‘U3’ headlining the evening. All proceeds go towards upkeep of the historic Monmouth Savoy Theatre.
