The senior management structure of Monmouthshire County Council will be reorganised as part of plans to improve the organisation's leadership and save around £900,000.
The cabinet will meet this week to agree proposals for change to the senior management team and wider organisation.
Paul Matthews, Chief Executive of Monmouthshire County Council said, "The restructure will reduce the cost of senior management to the council and ensure that we have the right structure in place to take the organisation through a period of increased demands for local public services. This is against a backdrop of severe cuts in the money we have available to deliver those services.
