SIR, The Friends of Vauxhall Field committee would like to thank the many people who use the fields, for their care. There has been noticeably significantly less litter dropped recently even in previous 'black spots'. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this by picking litter in the fields. A particular thanks must go to the individual who a few weeks ago collected a carrier bag full of plastic bags containing dog feces and left it by the dog bins. When your dog makes a mess, bag it and BIN it. It is acceptable to place the bags in public litter bins or household waste if a dog bin is not convenient. Bob Handley (Friends of Vauxhall Fields)
