Completing the Shire Hall project not only involved a lot of effort inside, but some outside as well.

The cobbles are being re-pointed and cables laid underneath, floodlights have been installed and the statues of Charles Rolls, Henry V along with the pillars and front facade of the building are beng lit. Shire Hall manager Mike Booth said that the lights are digital and low-level and will be on until 11pm.

"It's phase two of the overall work to the Shire Hall, and we are working to angle the lights to the best effect. We will also be putting in cycle racks in Agincourt square so that it completes the project".
