SIR, Locally-based charity Hands Around the World (HATW) works to help disadvantaged children, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa. More than 2,500 children benefit every day from our work. As well as being on the lookout for people interested in short-term volunteering overseas with us, we are currently looking for help nearer to home.
