In the Club's latest Winter monthly stableford, 100 members took part to decide the next batch of qualifiers for the Club's Barnfield Trophy, scheduled to be played in March.

In handicap Division 1, Josh Adams and Mark Gooch both 11 handicappers played very effectively to head the final results table and with 42 points each, it was Josh who finished in No 1 spot after count-back.

The performances by Dave Hart 41 points, Steve Wallbank 40 points and Geoff Robinson and Alex Bain with 38 points each meant that they will be in the mix in March, with other 38 pointers, Simon Buck, Club Captain Dave Griffiths and Mark Button just missing out on this occasion.

 In Handicap Division 2, Eric Stephens with 41 points headed the results table with the highly consistent Colin Price, despite his recently reduced 15 handicap, scoring 39 points to finish runner-up.

Michael Harris, Tom Rowberry, Chris Soane, Richard Topping, Michael Lawrence, Trevor Flowers, all with 38 points each and Club Vice-Captain John Bayliss with 37 points completed the list of qualifers.
