If Monmouth is indeed the third best town in Britain in which to live, would it not be reasonable to suggest that a hotel should be constructed on the contentious Dixton Road site?

This would enable visitors to enjoy the many amenities which the town has to offer and also add to the local economy.

Monmouth is in any case in dire need of a quality hotel, more so than fast food restaurants.

It could be suitably landscaped to fit in with and even improve the present pleasant access to the town and would not significantly increase traffic flow at the roundabout.
