SIR,

I would like to use the Monmouth Beacon to say a massive and heartfelt thank you to all of the family and close friends of Sandra Need for all the cards and messages that Sandra received during her recent stay in Hospital.

Sandra is home now and on the road to recovery, as is her younger sister Sharon, who made the whole thing possible by being very brave and donating one of her own kidneys.

There were too many people to thank individually for all the offers of help that I had during half term when our daughter was home from school and everyone was very generously, offering their time and help, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you all for everything, especially Sharon.
