THE FOREST Showcase food festival had plenty of cake to help celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Speech House on Sunday (October 4).
Alongside the cake was a huge array of food and drink from award-winning wines to cheese and handmade chocolate.
Among the of food and drink producers were a number who have been at every Showcase – including James Gourmet Coffee of Ross.
The Cookery Theatre gave visitors the opportunity to see local produce being cooked chefs such as the Speech House Hotel’s Steve Jones, head chef at Tudor Farmhouse, Clearwell and Yvette Farrell of Harts Barn Cookery School.
There were also crafts on display and music including Lydney Training Band and the Two Rivers Choir.
