A PLEA to neaten the graveyard at Oudeceus' Church, Llandogo through the Beacon's letter pages has been taken on board by the clergy.
The church came under fire from a Southhampton family who recently returned to the area to visit a grave, only to find the area overgrown and unkempt.
Siblings Janice Whitfield and Michael Fox were concerned by seemingly a lack of respect for the burial place of their uncle and cousin.
However, following the letter's publication the grass has now been chopped to a reasonable length and Oudeceus' Churchyard has grounds befitting the beautiful building and its idyllic countryside setting.
