BROTHER and Sister photographers Nick House and Tracey Clements have just won three awards at the Welsh Master Photographers Association annual awards at the Grove Golf Club in Porthcawl.
Nick won the ’Landscape and Travel’ category with a photo taken from Eagles Nest, St Arvans, Chepstow, and Tracey won a Merit in the ‘under fives’ with a photo of two-year-old James Saysell and another Merit in the ’Pets’ category with a photo of Dillan.
Nick and Tracey both work from Wye Valley Studios in Caldicot which was founded by their late father, Glyn, over sixty years ago. It is the third time Nick has won the title ’Welsh Master Landscape Photographer of the Year’ and Tracey has won the ‘Pets’ and ‘Under Fives’ in previous years.
They will be going to the Nationals later this year where they have both entered prints. The awards were judged by MPA national president Steve Walton who was impressed with the overall quantity and quality of the prints entered by the Welsh region.
