For Wye Valley Music’s next concert on Sunday, October 11th at 3pm, in St. Briavel’s Church, The Glamorgan Duo will present a programme entitled 'Illuminated Voices. From Britain to the Continent'. The Glamorgan duo met as scholarship students at the Royal Welsh College of Music and are committed to giving a platform to the musical voices of classical and contemporary female composers.

At the heart of the programme are works by Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn as well as by contemporary Welsh and British composers Rhian Samuel, Hilary Tann, Teyla Leigh Payne, Elaine Hugh Jones, Enid Luff, Steph Power, Sally Beamish and 19 and early 20c composers Marcelle Soulage, Fanny Hensel, Grace Williams and Ethel Smyth.
