MONMOUTH Comprehensive School have launched their upper school production taking place early next year.

The Performing and Expressive Arts Faculty recently announced the production of the upcoming school show. The Addams Family is being brought to Monmouth by students in Year 9-13.

Over 90 students from upper school years have auditioned to take part in the school performance. Teachers have seen talent from across the school years, impressed with the array of skills they have to offer.

The Addams Family musical is about Wednesday Addams falling love with a boy from a respectable family hosting a dinner for his parents, forcing Gomez to keep a secret from Morticia for the first time.

The talent and enthusiasm have been reflected by the students and shown by everyone involved. Students arrived well prepared, demonstrating confidence, creativity and a passion for performing.

The first rehearsal took place on Tuesday, September 22, ready to bring to the stage a spooky, adaptation of The Addams Family.
