Ross Rowing Club amassed an incredible 18 wins over the two days of Llandaff regatta. It was a club record, and for many this was their first time on the intimidating Taff course with the huge weir at the end. The first race for Ross was the WJ13 double sculls of Kelly Morris and Rosie Lindley. They rowed very strongly for the first of many wins. Also winners were Louise and Katie Hudd in the WJ15 double sculls, Ed Surman in the J14 single sculls, Rosie Lindley in the WJ13 single sculls, Kelly Morris in the WJ14 single sculls and Fiona Rogoff, in her adults novice race, winning her event and losing her novice status. There was a win for Robin Fletcher and Tim Bunting, in the Men's Senior 2 double sculls, after a tough re-row. The Men's Senior 4 coxed four won their heat and final, making them now Senior 3. Jasmin Brandram Jones and Georgina Watling, racing in WJ15 single sculls, met each other in the semi final. Both raced extremely well, but Jasmine pulled slightly ahead to get herself through to the finals. Unfortunately she lost to Avon County competition. The J15 single sculler of Dan Hunt also had strong competition from Evesham, just losing in his semi final. George Wood raced J14 single sculls, but lost narrowly, as dids Jez Kelk, in the Men's Senior 3 single sculls. On Sunday Kelly Morris and Rosie Lindley, won WJ13 and WJ14 double sculls.
