A coroner issued a warning about the dangers of buying prescription drugs over the internet following the death of a young woman from an overdose.

Amy Elizabeth Pain was found dead in bed by her father, the Archdeacon of Monmouth, the Ven Richard Pain, at their vicarage home in the south Wales market town on October 12 last year.

The 22-year-old was described as an "intelligent", "creative" and "attractive" young woman by her father during the inquest in Newport.

In recording a verdict of misadventure, Gwent coroner David Bowen said it was likely Miss Pain accidentally took an overdose in an attempt to relieve period pain.
