Dog-nappers at large?

Judy, the Jack Russell terrier disappeared from her home in Ross on December 8th and her owner, Bryony Hatch, is worried that she has been kidnapped. More than 42 pets have gone missing in the Forest of Dean area in the past six months according to dog lover, Helen Zuluk of Bream who re-homes unwanted pets. Almost all the dogs taken appear to be working breeds. Bryony told The Ross Gazette that a local man had lost his Jack Russell, named Biscuit, for four months. He had only recovered her after someone in North Yorkshire tried to get her microchipped and it became evident that she had a home in Herefordshire. Judy's eight pups, who are only ten weeks old now, had to be hand-reared by Bryony's mother. Bryony said she is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information which leads to Judy, the terrier, being found safe and well ring 07717 570001 or if anyone wants to give information anonymously they can ring CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.
