An investigation is being carried out by Gwent Police after a suspicious device was found on a Monmouth cash machine.

The device, which comprised a camera and card reader, was reported to police by HSBC in Agincourt Square.

It is believed the apparatus may have been on the machine between the hours of 5pm on Wednesday 22nd June and 8.40am on Thursday 23rd June.
