STUDENTS from Caroline Graham's School of Dance performed in their first ever dance show earlier this month, the Magical World of Fairy Tales, with net proceeds of the performance going to the children's charity Ty Hafan.
The show featured dances by children of all ages, from some of the pre-school movement groups, aged two upwards, to the school age students who study Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) ballet, tap and modern dance.
Caroline Graham, who has a 20-year-long career in teaching dance, said: "All of my students work incredibly hard in class, consistently achieving exceptional results in exams and competitions, but I felt it was time for all of my students to experience the excitement of being on stage, to dress up and perform to an audience in what will be our first ever dance school show."
Caroline Graham's School of Dance is a recognised school with the Council for Dance Education and Training and offers fun-filled dance classes in the Chepstow and Caldicot area from two-year-olds to adults.
The school has a 100 per cent pass rate in exams, with 98 per cent achieving distinction or merit.
"I need to say a huge thank you to all the students, parents and local businesses that have got involved and have helped me to put this show together," Caroline added.
