A MAN has been arrested, charged and bailed regarding the alleged theft of clothes from Burtons, Monmouth.

POWER tools, a pressure washer and CD system, valued at £475, were taken from a garage in Duchess Road, Osbaston, Monmouth, on Thursday night.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE
A WALLET, credit cards and approximately £30 in cash were stolen from a vehicle parked in Charles Road, Dingestow, on Monday.
CASH MACHINE COVER FOUND
THE cover of the cash machine taken when the Londis Store, Raglan, was ram raided last year has been found in a woodland area at Penrhos.
PHONE TAKEN
A MOBILE phone was stolen from the David Maclean construction site, Rockfield Road, Monmouth, on Thursday.
PILLARS DAMAGED
TWO pillars of a front wall of a house at Hereford Road, Monmouth, were damaged overnight. The damage was estimated at £250.
FOUR ARRESTED
FOUR men, not locals, have been arrested in relation to the theft of a bottle of whisky from Waitrose, Monmouth. There has been a spate of thefts of spirits from shops in the town. Monmouth police would welcome any information from anyone who has been offered cheap spirits.
WINDOW SCRATCHED
MONMOUTH Police are investigating an incident in which the front display window of Adrian Gaunt, jewellers, Monmouth, was damaged with a deep scratch.
