A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been committed for jury trial on a charge of raping a 15-year-old girl in Coleford over 15 years ago.

James Partridge of Meadow Drive, Hereford, is alleged to have raped the girl between 20th August and 1st September 2011.

He appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court last week and was unconditionally bailed to await trial at Gloucester Crown Court.

He was ordered to attend the Crown Court on 26th November for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
